Terms of use & risk warning

Last updated 13 October 2026
Important: Knightsman Capital is for education only. It is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), it does not manage money for anyone, and nothing on this website is financial advice. Investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you put in.

These terms apply to your use of knightsmancapital.co.uk (the “site”), which is run by Henry Roberts, trading as Knightsman Capital (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Education only, not advice

Everything on the site, including the Knightsman Letters, the key terms, the performance chart and the Ask Knightsman explainer, is general educational commentary. It does not take into account your personal circumstances, objectives or attitude to risk, and it is not a personal recommendation. Nothing on the site is an offer, invitation, solicitation or inducement to buy, sell or hold any investment, or to engage in any investment activity.

Before making any financial decision, think carefully about whether it is right for you and consider speaking to a financial adviser authorised by the FCA. You can check whether a firm or adviser is authorised on the FCA Register.

Not a regulated business

Knightsman Capital is a research and education concept. It is not an authorised investment manager, it is not an operating fund, and it does not hold or manage money on behalf of anyone. Because we are not regulated, you would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in relation to anything on this site.

The Knightsman Letters

The monthly letters are retrospective macro commentary. They describe market mechanisms and events as analysis, not as predictions or a record of trades made at the time. They may refer to public sources such as central banks, the IMF or news organisations; we try to describe these accurately but cannot guarantee that every figure is complete or up to date.

Ask Knightsman (AI explainer)

Ask Knightsman uses an artificial-intelligence model to generate answers automatically. Answers are not reviewed by a person before you see them, can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, and must not be relied on as advice. Please do not enter personal, financial or sensitive information into it. We may limit how many questions can be asked, and we may suspend the explainer at any time. See our privacy notice for how questions are handled.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the site accurate, but we make no promise that it is complete, correct or current, and information may change without notice. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage, including investment losses, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or anything on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Intellectual property

The text, design and graphics on the site belong to Knightsman Capital unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to share links to pages and to quote short extracts with credit, but please do not copy or republish substantial parts of the site without permission.

Links to other websites

The site links to other websites for information and sharing. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
