Privacy notice

Last updated 13 October 2026

This notice explains how Knightsman Capital (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through knightsmancapital.co.uk, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Henry Roberts, trading as Knightsman Capital. You can contact us about anything in this notice at henry@robertsfamily.je.

What we collect

How and why we use it

We use your email address to send the Knightsman Letter and related research updates. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We use Ask Knightsman questions only to generate an answer, and technical data to run and protect the website, which is in our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to run the site: Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and stores newsletter sign-ups, and AI explainer questions are processed by an AI model provider through Netlify’s AI Gateway. These providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We do not store Ask Knightsman conversations beyond the time needed to answer them, though our providers may keep limited logs for security and abuse monitoring. So you can carry on where you left off, your current conversation is kept in your own browser’s session storage until you close the tab. It is not sent to us or stored on our servers.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To unsubscribe or exercise any of these rights, email henry@robertsfamily.je.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
